Step one

Boil equal parts water and paper at high heat on the hob.

Step two

Stir mixture till smooth as possible; using a blender is optional. Stir until smooth using a whisk or a blender and add choice of natural colourant if you wish.

Step three

Drain water using a sieve. You need to drain as much water as possible and you can even use your hands.

Step four

Place mixture on a flat surface.

Step five

Using a rolling pin roll the paste out to desired thickness.

Step six

Leave to dry once done.

Step seven

Once semi dry, you can mold the paper to create 3D shapes or leave to dry flat.
