Method


Step one

EGGSHELL POWDER

  1. Gather as many eggshells as you necessitate.

  2. Wash the eggshells thoroughly and boil them for about 10-15 mins. This process will make to kill all bacteria.

  3. Heat the eggshells in the oven at 100 degrees for about 15 minutes.

  4. Let the eggshells dry.

  5. Grind the dried eggshells into fine particles in a grinder next pass the eggshell powder through a sieve.

Step two

EGGSHELL BIOMATERIAL

  1. 1 cup of cold water is mixed with 2 tbsp of gelatin powder. Mix until no visible lumps. Gelatin is the main ingredient of the biomaterial. *If you use hot water while mixing the ingredients it can be foam a lot so cold water more suitable for this recipe*

  2.  Heat and stir until they begin to change color. It's about 2-3 mins. Then add 2 tsp of salt and 2 tbsp of eggshell powder. Mix all the ingredients for about 1 min.

  3. Before pouring the mixture into a mold, add 1 tsp glycerin. Mix again. *If you add more glycerin material will act softer and flexibly*

  4. Pour the mixture into a mold. *Be sure about your mold is clean, if it's not clean material can the growth of mold*

  5. Let the composite dry and do not touch. The mixture should be equally spread across the surface.

  6. Take it out of the mold, shape! And your eggshell biomaterial is ready.
