Method


Step one

Mix all of the ingredients together until they are fully dissolved

Step two

Heat while stirring until just bellow boiling point. This should slightly thicken and look like discoloured water.

Step three

Any bubbles remaining will be in your final bioplastic sample. You can pop bubbles with a tooth pick or fork, or add in bubbles with a syringe.

Step four

Pour into your mould and leave for 2-3 days till its fully dry. Also if you want to add anything extra to your material, do this at this stage.

The result will be a bioplastic that is thin and translucent. I produced two sheets that were 30 x 30 cm in sixe.
