Google.org’s Accelerator: Generative AI funds nonprofits building high-impact generative AI solutions to address big societal challenges. Materiom joined the accelerator in 2024 to build a generative AI solution designed to accelerate biobased materials R&D.

The Innovation Alliance for Circular Design (CiD) aims to develop innovation in research and training in urbanism, architecture, and product and service design, in support of the transition towards climate-neutral cities. Key themes are a new vision of design in the circular economy, urban transformation towards climate neutrality, and bio-innovation for the renovation wave.

The REFLOW Project brought together a range of European cities and partners to pilot new models for circular and regenerative urban development. Its main focuses included mapping city resource flows — such as plastics, textiles, and food — and active citizen involvement.
